This is a story of an archaeologist, Jack acted by Jackie Chan, who finds himself having sights of his previous life. The whole film shows him unravels his secret of his previous life, General Meng Yi, and his attempt to fulfill his promise from his past life.

Past Meng yi (jackie) in this movie act as a gentle solider that need to bring the korea princess back to his country to get marry the king. But on his way back to his homeland, he been attack by one of the korea army, which a guy that like the princess. She had no choice just had to follow law to marry the king.

On way back to meng yi's homeland, jackie need to use his life to save the princess. During the accident, meng yi get hurt badly, the princess have hestiation to save his life. Due to the accident they fall in love with one another. But jackie was loyal with the king and do not want the princess to follow him, so he decided to send her to the king.

One day, the king looking for a medicine that last his life longer and sent meng yi to find the doctor. During he trip to other places, he been killed. The princess ate the long life medicine and become a girl that live 1000 year. She did not live the place and waiting for the meng yi to return. Will he met jackie again???
